People used to enjoy it for the off-chance that one of the drivers would get killed or at least horrifically burnt or maimed.

Now it's safer than golf and even more boring nobody cares. iId put it between swimming and rhythmic gymnastics in my list of sports to avoid. Fair play, though, it's not as bad as diving.

Great driver, never easy to compare across generations but this year he showed great composure.

people say he is in the best car, agree to an extent, but then why isnt Bottas 2nd, plus on its day the Ferrari is better and even the bull is sometimes better.

Dead right. He raced smarter than anyone else. Verspatappen had his early season had his early season crash fest and Vettel threw away at least three results with stupid moves, Vettel could and should have won.
